School Has Already Fried My Brain

Yay, the second Monday of the year, and I'm already a day late in my post. To be fair, Monday was also my first day of graduate school, so I did have other things on my mind. (For the curious, I am getting my MLA. To become a librarian.)

Well, as far as updates in my writing progress, there isn't much to report anyway. I pretty much did no work whatsoever in any of my many projects. Which isn't to say I didn't write...just that I didn't write anything for my books/plays/poems. Okay, not quite true. I spent a good deal of time trying to work out a new character in the Pirate Perdita story. In other news, I now know how the French say 'John Doe'.

So, what can I share if I didn't really do much writing? I suppose I could discuss my current reading list. When it comes to reading, a task I greatly enjoy, I have a somewhat sporadic attention span. So I either devour a book in a day...or I read a tiny bit at a time for ages. Les Miserables probably took me about a year to go through (Though to be fair, it did have some intensely boggy sections...following by some of the best action sequences I've read). So currently I am reading: Sense and Sensibility, Mary Poppins, The Paris Architect, The Lost World (Jurassic Park, not Doyle's), and Little Women. And two new text books for my classes, but I kind of have to read those, so I'm not sure they count.

And that has been my week!
